Note:

You should not hang the wind chimes in a way where people sit, work, eat or stand underneath it regularly. This can cause head injuries and other illnesses and accidents.
 

As with any feng shui cure, be mindful not to weaken or damage the main element of an area. For example, do not place a metal wind chime in the East (wood element) or a wood chime in the earth element area (Southwest).

• Both sides of the bed should have equal space. Thus, you should not have one side of the bed jammed against the wall.

Calculating your Kua number

The Kua number is used to determine which directions are auspicious or inauspicious for you to use in your daily life, such as when working, sleeping, travelling, etc. Knowing your Kua number and your auspicious directions is a simple, yet very powerful way to bring various types of luck into your life. It doesn’t cost anything; you just need to position yourself in the right direction!

Determining your Kua number

The Kua number is determined from your gender and your date of birth. When calculating the Kua number, we have to consider your year of birth. To calculate your Kua number, there is a simple formula to be applied, which differs for male and female.

If you are a male add the last two digits of your year of birth until it results in a single digit number
Ex: 1954 = 5+4 = 9 
Subtract this number from 10
ex: 10 – 9 = 1
Your Kua number is 1 

Note:For male born during or after the year 2000, you need to subtract this number from 9.
Ex: 2003 = 3; 9 – 3 = 6

If you are a female
add the last two digits of your year of birth until it results in a single digit
