Feng shui bagua (pa kua) mirror is a round mirror surrounded by an octagonal wooden frame with the feng shui bagua design in either red, green and yellow/gold colors or black and red colors. Bagua mirrors can be found as flat, concave and convex mirrors for different ways of manipulating the outside energies of negative quality. You can also find bagua mirrors in a metal bagua shaped frame. Pakua mirror is the most abused remedy. The Pakua mirror is a powerful feng shui cure that is often misused.

Difference Between Bagua(Pa Kua) Concave Mirror and Convex Mirror
There are two types of bagua mirror: one mirror is convex (bowed outward) to repel actively harmful energy and the other is concave (hollowed inward) to absorb and nullify passively negative energy.
• A concave bagua mirror is used when you need to absorb and neutralize the negative energy from
outside your home. It sucks in and neutralizes it.
• A convex bagua mirror is used if you want to reflect right back the ‘sha chi’ (negative or harmful
energy) pointing at your home (be it your front door or any windows). It promotes the endless
bouncing of negative energy and this mirror is hung facing inauspicious influences.
• A flat bagua mirror is considered neutral.

The Pakua mirror design is further divided into the so-called Early Heaven and Later Heaven Baguas. The Early Heaven bagua mirror has three uninterrupted (yang energy) lines on top. The early heaven bagua mirror is the one that you can see above doors for feng shui protection purposes.

The Later Heaven bagua mirror has the Li trigram on top, which is one interrupted (yin energy) line in between two yang (uninterrupted) lines; this trigram symbolizes Fire. The later heaven bagua sequence is used for defining the feng shui energy map of any space.

Placement of Pa Kua mirror
• The first feng shui rule of using the Pakua mirror is that it should never, ever be used indoors.
• The second feng shui rule of using the bagua(pakua) mirror is that you use it only if there is bad
feng shui energy facing your home or business. The feng shui pakua mirror is not a decor feng
shui item and should not be used as such.
• Best to place the feng shui bagua mirror when advised by a professional feng shui consultant.

• Traditionally, the feng shui bagua mirror is placed above the front door or above a big window that is
  facing questionable outside energies.
• Please remove the bagua mirror from your living room; the bagua mirror should never be used inside

  a home.
• These bagua mirrors are usually placed in the metal feng shui element areas on the outside of a home

  or business.

It can be found made from various valuable materials such as jade, gold, silver, iron, crystal, coral, agate, bamboo, ivory, rhinoceros horn, bone, wood and other precious gems.Ru yi has become a feng shui good luck and good fortune symbol.

The additional meaning of ru yi is that of good luck and protection, as well as helping one find a clear way to the fulfillment of one's path, or destiny. Because of ru yi association with power, authority and fulfillment of one's destiny, a ruyi is best used for good feng shui in the office, not home.

Placement of RUYI at office:
In classical feng shui schools, a ru yi is most often positioned in the North area of one's place of business - which can be a home office of a bigger, corporate office. A ru yi in the office is assumed to protect the owner from negative energy and clear the way for career advancement.

Placement of RUYI at home
At home the ru yi is most often placed in the Northwest area - the area connected to male energy. It is also the feng shui area connected to networking and helpful people. Sometimes a ru yi will be placed in the West area (Children & Creativity) to create a more authoritative energy in dealing with one's children.

Placement instruction 2015

 Double Happiness Symbol
The symbol of the Double Happiness is one of the oldest tools used by the Chinese to enhance love and marriage luck. Whenever there’s a wedding, you’ll always see the Double Happiness symbol cut out in red papers and pasted either on the wedding carriage. In modern Feng Shui the symbol of Double Happiness has proven to be one of the most effective love or romantic luck and marriage enhancer. A single woman or man who wants to find their true love can wear the Double Happiness and they will most likely find their partner.
Chinese Double Happiness sign is a popular and beautiful feng shui cure. When you look at this symbol, you can clearly distinguish two identical figures holding hands. There is perfect symmetry, flow and balance in the Chinese double happiness sign, which speak of the possibility of a lasting harmonious energy in a love relationship. Feng Shui masters in the orient often suggest keeping the Double Happiness Symbol in the Marriage & Romance corner of the house, or in Southwest (considered Marriage & Romance direction as per Compass School of Feng Shui).

How to activate your love corner
  • Once you know where your love corner is, try not to have a toilet, kitchen, or storeroom there to press down on the luck. Remove all brooms, mops, etc. in this corner if they are there.
  • The general love corner for all women is the Southwest corner. Activate the SW of both your home and your bedroom with a pair of love birds, love ducks and a picture of lovers, crystals smooth balls and crystal lotus flowers in this corner. Red lamps are great to light up your symbols hang lanterns, light up the section, stay in this part of your home/bedroom to activate.
  • Remove mirrors in the bedroom that reflect your bed. Never sleep under beams which press down on your good luck.
  • The bed should be big enough for two people. Try not to sleep on a divided mattress.
  • Both sides of the bed should have equal space. Thus, you should not have one side of the bed jammed against the wall.
  • Remember to have your head pointing towards your good direction (longevity or love, health etc).
  • Be sure to decorate with mandarin ducks, double happiness symbol or phoenix and dragons.
Tip : you can also wear/use double happiness symbol like pendant, ring, bracelet, key chain, ear rings etc

Extremely useful for protecting and grounding personal energy, tourmaline can be found in nearly every color and the same crystal will often contain several different colors. Tourmaline commonly crystallizes alongside quartz and often interpenetrates it. Tourmaline quartz combines the qualities of both stones, clearing and grounding, energizing and protecting.
  • The combination of clear white and radiant black are believed to create a perfect polarity of energies, a manifestation of light and dark forces united together for a common goal.
  • One of Tourmaline’s most distinguishing properties is its ability to become electrically charged simply by heating or rubbing it.
  • Black Tourmaline soothes panic attacks, especially those caused by dark or confined spaces, or in places where the atmosphere is frightening. It also helps control fears of doctors or dentists.
  • Tourmaline is specifically used to treat motion sickness. It may also assist in restoring luster and shine to hair and nails.
Black Tourmaline Physical Healing Energy:
Black Tourmaline stimulates the reflex points associated with the lower back, legs, ankles and feet, and may be used to realign the spinal column. It provides pain relief and assists with strained or torn muscles, numbness, arthritis, and scar tissue. Black Tourmaline defends against debilitating disease and strengthens the immune system, heart, and adrenal glands.

It inspires a positive attitude, no matter the circumstances, and stimulates altruism and practical creativity.

Black Tourmaline Chakra Healing and Balancing Energy:
Black Tourmaline may be used to activate grounding between the Base Chakra and the center of the Earth, providing further enhancement of one’s well-being on the physical plane. The Base, or Root Chakra, is located at the base of the spine, and controls the energy for kinesthetic feeling and movement. It is the foundation of physical and spiritual energy for the body. When the Base Chakra is in balance, the physical body regains its strength and stamina, and the spiritual energy is rekindled in the form of security and sense of one’s own power. It often leads to independence and spontaneous leadership.

The Chinese always associate the Horse with gifts given to the Emperors. For those who wish to have their talents acknowledged by the right people, place this horse in the South of your home. The horse symbolizes endurance, loyalty and purity. It also symbolizes courage, fame and recognition. It’s the considered opinion of many that the Horse statuette is ideal for those who are in marketing and travel line.

Types of Horses in Feng Shui
Monkey seated over the Horse: signifies career growth - both promotion and monetary
Emperor Horse: The emperor horse brings huge prosperity luck.
Horse drawing a chariot of wealth: Brings in loads of abundance.
Dragon headed Horses: (with or without wings) is quite special - it not only bestows Fame,
Fortune  and Social status, but also helps to protect and retain them.
Galloping horse- you can place Galloping horse sculpture in your living room, study or business premises. Place the statue of 8 Galloping Horses to get victory and ultimate success in your career or business growth. Do not put this horse facing directly behind you or directly confronting you and in your toilet/bathroom and kitchen.
Choosing the right Horse painting and Horse artifact
• Never select half shapes, as this symbolizes incomplete energy, which will in some way
  affect your life.
• Angry, sad, confused (horses running haywire) horses against each other, are not good

symbols to view daily. They may create clash among the strongest partners and family.
Happy galloping horse brings about positive energy to move forward.
• Horse is often found in great shades of black brown and white naturally. Reds, greens,

blues are not for horses so finding black horse artworks is great for money wealth luck.
• Lonely horse moving in dried fields, yes many times we see such artworks, and they have

the horse too but not a good choice for good luck. Such artworks when viewed will bring
about an emotional response of confusion and feeling lost in the world. Not good for a
  business head.
• Hanging horse paintings is very important. Never hang horse paintings in bedroom, this

energy will upset the serene environment required for relaxation, which is the main Feng
  Shui purpose of the bedroom.
• Hanging horse paintings near the door is good but the galloping horses must be facing

inwards. As if they face outwards they are flying with great speed outside, thus symbolizing
energy from your home (wealth) going outside.
• Buy a horse painting of artifacts only if you like horses, as they symbolize strong energy

and though, horse symbolizes strong wealth and good luck energy, this is not for everyone.
After a few days the energy of the space may change to restlessness, irritability and create
arguments. You need to be able to handle the horse energy, and if you are the quite type,
focused on work maybe some other Feng Shui cure symbol can work better for you to
  attract good luck.

In Feng Shui, the horse is associated with speed, strength, perseverance and nobility. The Tribute Horse signifies wealth coming into the family. While the Victory Horse brings success and triumph.

Cleansing Crystals
Crystals need to be protected from physical damage, but also from energetic imbalances. Crystals can register a wide range of vibrations, from electricity and magnetism, to sound, emotions and thoughts.
Every cleansing method has advantages and disadvantages. You will quickly learn to determine the most useful method for your situation. It is better to regularly cleanse the crystals you are working with rather than letting imbalances accumulate over time.

Different methods of Cleansing Crystals
With the exception of few water soluble minerals, each new crystal should be washed before you used it. Use a little soapy water to remove dust and fingerprint. Water will also cleanse your stones of energy imbalances.
1) Cleansing under running water
Another method is to hold the stones in cold running water and then leave them to dry naturally. Visualizing the flow of water drawing away all imbalances as you cleanse can speed up the process.
2) Cleansing with Salt water
Salt water is often suggested as a medium for clearing crystal energies. Although effective, it can be difficult to remove all traces of salt from the tiny crevices in the crystal, and salt will damage the surface of many softer stones. If you want to try this method, place a handful of rock salt in a glass bowl fill with water. Let the salt get completely dissolve before placing your crystals in. Leave the crystal in a bowl for an hour, then rinse the crystal in pure (clean) water before drying.
3) Cleansing with Dry sea salt
Dry sea salt piled around each stone and left for a day is a good alternative. Either use small dishes for each stone or nestle each stone in its own little mound of salt on a large flat plate.
4) Cleansing with sound
Resonant sound from a tuning fork, metal bowl or bell rapidly vibrates the physical structure of the crystal allowing it quickly to shake off any intrusive energies. Simply hold a struck bell or tuning fork close to your stone, or place one or two crystals in the bottom of a singing bowl, and run the wooden handle around the rim.
5) Cleansing in Sunlight & Moonlight
To re-energize your crystals they need to be place in full sunlight in early morning for about 24 hours. Repeat the same on next sunny day. You can also energize crystals in moonlight, putting them out at night and retrieving them in the morning; try to choose a phase such as a new or full moon.
6) Cleansing with incense smoke or smudge stick
The simplest method is to use incense smoke, smudge stick, sandalwood, frankincense, juniper and sage were found to be powerful purifying herbs.  Pass the stone through the smoke until you feel it clear.

Important tips
• Use whichever cleansing techniques you find most effective and practical. You will soon learn to
recognize the feel of a cleansed stone.
• Use a clear intention that your chosen method will cleanse your stones, to speed the process.
• Surrounding a crystal with other cleansed stones, or placing the stone on a large cluster or bed of
  crystal, is effective cleansing method.
• Mineralogy reference books will tell you which stones can be placed in water.

Very important
Get into the habit of cleansing your healing stones before and after use – and don’t forget to cleanse any large decorative crystals you may have around your home from time to time.

Take a small non-metallic box with a tight fitting lid. A plastic container is ideal. Any intention you want to Reiki, includes heals, can each be written on a separate slip of paper and placed in a container or box. Reiki the box for at least 10 minutes a day, requesting in the Opening Attitude of Gratitude that ‘Reiki please make (your name)’s Reiki box and the intentions in it healed, whole and complete, so it is, thank you….. etc…..’ In the Closing Attitude of Gratitude state: ‘(Your name)’s Reiki box and the intentions in it are healed, whole and complete, so it is, thank you, Thy will be Done…. ‘(Thank Reiki, the Reiki box, the intentions, etc).

When the intentions manifest, or are time barred, burn the intention slip. This is very important, as it completes and concludes the energy cycle relating to that intention. (Dispose-off the ashes in a plant or in the kitchen sink with water).

Calculating your Kua number
The Kua number is used to determine which directions are auspicious or inauspicious for you to use in your daily life, such as when working, sleeping, travelling, etc. Knowing your Kua number and your auspicious directions is a simple, yet very powerful way to bring various types of luck into your life. It doesn’t cost anything; you just need to position yourself in the right direction!

Determining your Kua number
The Kua number is determined from your gender and your date of birth. When calculating the Kua number, we have to consider your year of birth. To calculate your Kua number, there is a simple formula to be applied, which differs for male and female.
If you are a male add the last two digits of your year of birth until it results in a single digit number
Ex: 1954 = 5+4 = 9
Subtract this number from 10
ex: 10 – 9 = 1
Your Kua number is 1
Note:For male born during or after the year 2000, you need to subtract this number from 9.
Ex: 2003 = 3; 9 – 3 = 6

If you are a female
add the last two digits of your year of birth until it results in a single digit
ex: 1975 = 7 + 5 = 12 = 1 + 2 = 3
add 5 to this number
ex: 5 + 3 = 8
Your Kua number is 8.
Note:For female born during or after the year 2000, you need to add 6 to this number.
Ex: 2004 = 4; 6 + 4 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
